Established originally in 1941, Eyecare Solutions has been at the forefront of innovation in Optometry for the last 80 years. We are constantly looking at the latest technologies and practices to best treat our patients.
Our experienced doctors of optometry are fully licensed and work closely with Ophthalmologists and other medical professionals to co-manage our patients when necessary; providing them comprehensive care from the moment they step into one of our clinics.
Our doctors specialize in a variety of conditions and eye health concerns such as Keratoconus, Dry Eye Syndrome, Diabetic Retinopathy, Glaucoma, Macular Degeneration, Myopia Control, Pediatric Optometry, and more.
We are able to support those who are hearing impaired through the use of ASL, as well as multiple languages. Certain clinics are able to accommodate those who are wheelchair bound, and we are more than happy to arrange care within the community through Assisted Living Homes and Support Centres.

Dr. Jay Torbeih
English, Arabic, ASL
Dr. Torbeih attended the University of Alberta and received a Bachelor of Science Degree in 2000. He then went on to study at the University of Waterloo and graduated with his Doctor of Optometry in 2004.
Upon graduating, Dr. Torbeih returned to Edmonton, working in several different clinical settings before opening Total Focus Northgate, and further went on to expand the Eyecare Solutions Group into various clinics across the city.

Dr. Moe Tarabey
English, Arabic
Dr. Moe Tarabey specializes in the treatment of conditions such as keratoconus and the use of scleral lenses to treat various conditions.

Dr. Moe Jomha
English, Arabic
Dr. Jomha attended the University of Alberta and Grant Macewan University and he graduated in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science. He then went on the study Optometry at the Illinois College of Optometry. Graduating in 2018 with his Doctor of Optometry, Dr. Jomha moved back to Edmonton and started treating patients at Total Focus before moving his primary practice to Lifetime Eyecare and Millwoods Eye Clinic.

Dr. Tehseena Ullah
English
Born and raised in Edmonton, Dr. Ullah graduated from University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Science.
She attended the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University, graduating in 2008 with an additional B.Sc. in Vision Sciences and a Doctorate of Optometry.
After graduating, Dr. Ullah completed a one year Primary Care Residency Program at Salus University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Her specialties include ocular disease, low vision and contact lenses.

Dr. Puneet Randhawa
English
Dr. Randhawa received her Bachelors of Science degree at the University of Alberta.
Dr. Randhawa went to the beautiful island of Puerto Rico to pursue her Doctor of Optometry degree and graduated from the InterAmerican University of Puerto Rico in 2011.

Dr. Avneet Purawel focuses her practice on the utilization of specialty contact lenses and comprehensive eyecare.

Dr. Abdu Abougoush
English, Arabic, Spanish
Dr. Abougoush first started at Total Focus in 2014 as an optical assistant while working on his Bachelors of Science at the University of Alberta.
He then went on the graduate from the IAU in Puerto Rico in 2021 and has been working as a Doctor of Optometry at Total Focus ever since.
Dr. Abougoush has a particular interest in Paediatrics and Diabetic Management.

Dr. Adem studied his Bachelor of Science at the University of Alberta before going on to study Optometry at the University of Waterloo. He has a special interest in Paediatrics and Vision Therapy.

Dr. Elassal attended the University of Alberta while working towards a Bachelor of Science with a major in Biological Sciences. He then went on to study Optometry at the IAU in Puerto Rico and graduated in 2021. Dr. Elassal has been working as a Doctor of Optometry at Total Focus since then, and has a special interest in Dry Eye Syndrome and Retinal Disease.

Dr. Qin attended the University of Alberta while working towards a Bachelor of Science before going on to study her Doctor of Optometry and Masters of Education at Pacific University. Dr. Qin has a special interest in Ocular Disease and Neuro-Rehabilitation, training at the Gunderson Health System.

Dr. Yussuf Mimouni

Dr. Mimouni attended Grant Macewan University while working towards a Bachelor of Science with a major in Molecular Biology. He then went on to study Optometry at Western University of Health Sciences. Dr. Mimouni has been working as a Doctor of Optometry at Calgary Trail Vision Centre and has a special interest in Dry Eye Syndrome.

Dr. Bruce Butts

Dr. Bruce Butts received his Doctorate of Optometry from the University of Waterloo and has practiced for over 35 years. He’s a member of Eye Recommend, the Doctors Eyecare Network, the Alberta Association of Optometrists, and the Canadian Association of Optometrists.
